Someone is Definitely Winning 1 MILLION on RTE Game Show this Weekend
While Nicky Byrne's Million Euro Challenge TV Show hasn't exactly reached the same great heights of popularity as Winning Streak (sure he's no Marty, is he?), he can say he has presented the first ever game show in Ireland to give away over a million euro.
A taxi driver from Naas, Co. Kildare called Martin Burke is the lucky fella in question as he scoops a whopper €1,018,000 on this Saturday's show.
54-year-old Martin even foretold his win in March when he wrote a poem about appearing on the game show and winning a million. (We need to start writing more poems dammit...)

Also known as Archie, Martin has been a taxi driver for 15 years and is a familiar face around Naas, where he has lived all his life. He is married to Kathleen 36 years and is a father of four (Michael, Martin, Bridget and James) and grandfather to six (Gemma, Carly, Katy, Harry, Henry and Molly). Martin is known for his generosity and will share his winnings with family. N'aww.
Host Nicky Byrne said: "I'm delighted that Martin won the jackpot on Million Euro Challenge. This is what we've been building towards since the beginning of the series and I'm thrilled to be part of such an exciting experience."
