The poor nice guy who was dumped pre-meal on First Dates was back last night...

Fans of First Dates will remember that horribly awkward episode a few weeks back where singleton Greig was unceremoniously dumped by his date John before they even had their meal. It was brutal.

The pair had only sat down when John told him that he didn't see the point in continuing on as he wasn't attracted to Greig. John then stayed on in the restaurant to eat his own dinner. Yep.

Viewers were very much Team Greig about the whole incident and were delighted to see him back in the First Dates restaurant last night.

Greig was matched with financial guru Shaun and thankfully the date couldn't have gone any better, with the pair bonding over their love of dogs, and both agreeing to a second date. There was even a smooch at the end!

Best part?

They're still together.
