The internet at large seems to think Taylor's recent fashion choices are a bit BDSM in nature. Maybe she's just going on another backwards hike, you guys? Or perhaps she was bringing one of her many cats for a piggy back ride? Or maybe Calvin is bringing her for a walk later and doesn't want her to get lost in a crowd. Did any of you think of that?

Anyway, as the above tweet suggests, there's no need for mindless speculation because Taylor's cleared up any confusion with the following statement via her Tumblr:

“I think you’re ignoring a really important point here. That my harness and I are always ready for a zip line/rock climbing. Ask yourself.. Are you ready for extreme adventure should it present itself? HARNESS LIFE 2015"

See. Rock climbing, potentially backwards. She's prepared - even while stepping out for a spot of lunch with Selena Gomez.
