Is Paris Jackson's reaction to Joseph Fiennes' portrayal of her father justified or an overreaction?
Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris, has taken to Twitter to slam Joseph Fiennes' portrayal of the former King of Pop in Sky Arts' new series, Urban Myths.
The first trailer for the series was released online yesterday and there was a shocked reaction from fans on social media.
Last night Paris shared her thoughts on Fiennes' portrayal and she isn't happy.
@TheMJCast i'm so incredibly offended by it, as i'm sure plenty of people are as well, and it honestly makes me want to vomit.

She also went on to say that she also took offence to the series' portrayal of Elizabeth Taylor as well who is played by Stockard Channing.

@TheMJCast it angers me to see how obviously intentional it was for them to be this insulting, not just towards my father, but my godmother liz as well

@TheMJCast where is the respect? they worked through blood sweat and tears for ages to create such profound and remarkable legacies. shameful portrayal

Any portrayal of her late father was always going to be a sensitive subject for Paris but is she overreacting considering the series is very clearly a tongue in cheek look at the myths involving these historical figures?
