Kesha files motion in court to prevent Dr. Luke from leaking her medical records
The Dr. Luke/Kesha legal battle continues, and it just got a lot messier.
Lawyers for the pop singer have filed a motion to prevent the producer from leaking her sensitive medical records to the public.
The pair have been embroiled in a legal dispute since Kesha accused Dr. Luke, real name Lukasz Gottwald, of rape and sexual abuse in 2014. In May, he demanded that she turn over her medical records in a bid to disprove her claims. Now she is worried that they will make their way to the public - including private psychiatric, gynaecological and rehab-related files.
Kesha is still contracted to his label Kemosabe Records - which he refuses to release her from. Her career has arguably been stilted because of this.

The New York Post report that her lawyer James Pearl wrote to the court saying: "Ms Sebert now fears that Gottwald will seek to disclose and disseminate her personal medical records in an attempt to embarrass and harass her. Ms Sebert has disclosed highly sensitive personal medical records as part of this litigation, and her position as a world-renowned recording artist in whom there is great public interest renders any potential disclosure of those records potentially harmful to her personal and economic interests."
The case will be heard in court on October 16th.
