Grammy Awards 2015: Full List of Winners
It was a good night - a very good night, in fact - for Sam Smith at the Grammys last night, as the young singer bagged an armful of small golden gramophones for his mantelpiece.
Unfortunately that meant that our own Hozier missed out on an award for 'Take Me to Church', but his performance of both that song and 'I Put a Spell on You' with Annie Lennox went down a treat.
However, on the upside for Irish music (ahem), Aphex Twin won 'Best Dance/Electronic Album' for Syro. Since he was born in Limerick, we can claim him, right?
Other musical points of note include Beck pulling off a shock win for 'Album of the Year' with 'Morning Phase', which the tiresome Kanye West had something to say about. "I don’t even know what [Beck] said," he said after the ceremony. "I just know that, the Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We aren’t going to play with them no more. ‘Flawless.’ Beyoncé’s video. And Beck needs to respect artistry, he should have given his award to Beyoncé. At this point, we tired of it."
