How To Get Back On Track With Your New Years Goals
Be honest, how many people reading this are actually still on track with their New Year's goals? It's okay if you've fallen off the bandwagon because this is how you're going to get back on track.Reconnect with your reasons
A lot of people lose track of their goals because a few weeks in, they forget the reasons behind it.
It becomes more of a burden and you lose sight of why you wanted to achieve this goal in the first place.
Reconnecting with the reasons why you set out to achieve the goal in the first place is a great way to rekindle your passion and energy for achieving it.
If your reasons for setting the goal aren't strong enough then you've identified why you fell off track.

Identify what set you back
Retrace your steps and identify what happened that set you back from working on your goals.
There could be just one or several different factors but it's important to identify them all in order to move forward and get back on track.
It's no use identifying what problems caused your setback if you don't do anything to solve them.
The next step is to find simple solutions or preventative measures for what issues caused you to fall off the bandwagon.

Find new ways to keep yourself motivated
Motivation is KEY when it comes to goals. A great way to keep yourself motivated is to work on your goal with a friend, if possible.
For example, if your goal is to have a healthier lifestyle you can try doing workouts together and sharing new, delicious healthy recipes you've found.
Giving yourself small rewards once you reach certain milestones can also be an effective way to keep you motivated.
Be careful not to make the rewards counterproductive though.
For example, if you're trying to drink less alcohol it's definitely not a good idea to reward yourself with an alcoholic drink, but a mocktail might be a good alternative.
