So this celebrity 'engagement' was all a publicity stunt

You will remember, we had our doubts over this engagement, and the two played it quite well, but Jessica Lowndes's most recent Insta update has exposed the whole thing as a publicity stunt.

In the video, she asks if it's too early to say 'April Fools' (it is) and then directs the camera to a laptop playing her new music video, featuring none other than Jon Lovitz.

Well played, we guess.

But we won't be checking out the video.
