Bruce Forsyth dies aged 89
TV legend Bruce Forsyth has passed away today aged 89 years old. The veteran entertainer had been unwell for a significant period and was in hospital earlier in the year with a chest infection.
Sir Bruce was one of UK television's most iconic stars, beginning in show business at just 14 and going on to become Britain's best-paid TV star, famous for hosting game shows like The Generation Game, Play Your Cards Right, and The Price is Right, and of course most recently, for co-hosting Strictly Come Dancing alongside Tess Daly from 2004 to 2014.
He is survived by his wife Lady Wilnelia Forsyth, and his six children from his three marriages, as well as nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
