Bafta Beauty From MAC and Mark Hill

If you've been taking a gander at any shots from Sunday night's BAFTAs then it won't have escaped your notice that two trends were pretty much omnipresent: beachy, tousled hair and soft smokey eyes ruled the red carpet.

It's a duo that's glam enough for an awards ceremony but still relaxed and not try-hard - Irish stars, take note - and there's another winning duo in the mix here too. MAC delivered the makeup goods to a legion of stars including Tess Daly (who looked, quite frankly, bangin' at several months pregnant in her Philip Lim dress), Jamie Winstone, Mischa Barton, Maxine Peake (Shameless' Veronica) and Skins' Hannah Murray.

Hair brand Mark Hill were responsible for the gruaig, and they worked their magic on Corrie's Katherine Kelly (Becky), plus Mischa Barton, Hannah Murray and Tess Daly.

Loads of MAC face charts, behind the scenes images from their Beauty Suite at London's Mandarin Oriental hotel plus the products used are after the cut, but here's the hair-how: the Mark Hill team made good use of the brand's Curl and Shine Ceramic Waver,  De-Frizz Texturizing Polish, Stay Straight Shaping Polish and Beach to Bar Dry Shampoo to get the looks shown above.
