Another Love / Hate Cast Member Heading for Fame in The States

Following in the footsteps of fellow Love / Hater Ruth Negga! Actress Aoibhinn McGinnity first shot to fame as Nidge's wife Trish in Love/Hate but it looks like she has now got her big break across the pond, landing a role in upcoming HBO series Quarry.

The show is a new drama based on a series of novels written by Max Allan Collins and will tell the story of a man who returns home from Vietnam in 1972, only to find himself shunned by those he loved and ultimately ending up becoming a professional sniper.

Monaghan actress McGinnnity is set to play the love interest of one of the gang leaders in the series. While a source told the Irish Mirror that the show will also star Logan Marshall-Green, Peter Mullan and Jodi Balfour and that it's already been green-lit for eight episodes.

The show will be filmed around New Orleans and Tennessee and is set to air in early 2016.
