Could Amy Huberman really be in the running for an Emmy?
Voting is now underway for this year's Emmy Awards and considering how good TV has been the past year, there's going to be serious competition out there. THR's early predictions were filed yesterday and one name stuck out - our very own Amy Huberman.
Yes, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Amy Huberman's performance in Striking Out is enough to put her in the discussion for a Best Actress in a Limited Series or a Television Movie Emmy. The RTE series was sold to AcornTV, a streaming platform in the US that specialises in television content from across the Atlantic, so it's been in circulation and obviously, her performance was strong enough to be picked up and noticed.
In fact, THR's predictions put Hubes ahead of the likes of Lauren Graham in Gilmore Girls, Katie Holmes in The Kennedys: After Camelot, and Bryce Dallas Howard in Black Mirror.
THR's report came in on Tuesday, so what Hubes talking about that day?
