Will this new development change how we cleanse?

Will this new development change how we cleanse?

Just in case you weren't aware yet, most of the cosmetic industries' products and devices originated in Asia. They seem to be the silent masters of the cosmetic industry as we know it. In fact, each year, all of the huge makeup houses (MAC, Estée Lauder, L'oreal, etc.) make their way over to a big conference in Asia. There, they are told what is going to be their main focus this year, whether it be mineral makeup, skin whitening or 24-hour stay power lipstick.

Each brand takes this information and creates their version of it and markets it to us, the consumer, in their target market. Smart.

The latest tool to be launched this year is DHC’s Foaming Bubble Mesh. Sounds bizarre, I know, but hear me out. It's a piece of netting that is held together by a plastic ring and when a drop of your favourite cleansing product is applied and rubbed between your palms it generates a thick, dense foam. The foam is then to be applied to your face directly. It is said to be more luxurious and gentle on the skin, not to mention cost effective.

The cost effective part I get but the "luxurious" part? Hmm. Is it all just hype for nothing? What are your thoughts on this new product?
