What's your least favourite beauty packaging?
Recently, I treated myself to a new pair of NARS blushers to keep Orgasm company. Deep Throat (who comes up with these names?!) and Angelika are just gorgeous: the former's a pink coral with a golden sheen while Angelika's a bright super pigmented Barbie pink with proper golden shimmer. They're my go-to cheek colours at the moment and I'm pretty much just oscillating between the two of them from day to day.
However. While NARS packaging is lovely and luxe in a tactile, understated way, those velvet-touch black compacts are fecking impossible to keep clean. They're magnets for every bit of loose pigment and powder that escapes its moorings in a make-up bag, and as a result my lovely new blushers are already looking tatty.

I think that mosaic bronzers should have to be supplied with some kind of rugged rubberised outer shell, since they seem to break apart at the merest hint of a shake - I've pretty much given up on buying them at this stage.
What are your own pet peeves when it comes to packaging - and do they factor into your decision to make a purchase or not? Do the flimsy square cardboard containers in which some brands like to encase their expensive face powders wreck your head? Do tubs of skincare into which you have to dip your fingers into for every use make your skin crawl? Or perhaps you just have a dislike of the old fashioned/gimmicky/overly cutesy packaging of a particular brand or an allergy to anything that looks cheap and nasty.
Do tell!
