What's Your Favourite High-Pigmented Lipgloss?
Ah it's Monday, brains aren't yet firing on all pistons so lets have some gloss goss, shall we?
A beauty bit that can often deliver dramatically different results on the lips - and not in a good way - based on the shade of what's in the tube, gloss can often feel like an expensive mistake. While Benefit recently trumpeted the launch of their highly-pigmented Ultrashines glosses, we all know a Lancome Juicy Tube has little or no colour pay-off.
But actually gloss isn't really meant to be super-duper pigment-saturated - if you want full colour and glossy shine, look for a liquid lipstick instead, but to me, a good gloss should give a patent shine and enough colour so that you can see it, but not so much that your natural lip shade isn't visible beneath.

My faves? Chanel makes excellent glosses and the brand's Levres Scintillantes offerings are fab. While I'm not so crazy about the chunky glitter in L'Oreal Paris' Glamshines glosses, they last and the ones I've tried have been decently pigmented and nice and shiny. Prescriptives (sob) did a great line in good gloss and Bourjois and Lancome are old reliables for me too.
So what about you? Who makes the best gloss with good colour pay-off? Rate your faves in a comment.
