What's the Most You Would Spend on a Beauty Product?
Earlier today we discussed a new cleanser that we think is fantastic BUT it's pretty pricey at €50 (even though we predict that it will last for a full year) and opinion was divided on how expensive it was and if that kind of price is totally OTT.
So, we want to know if there's anything you would happily splash out on or if the more purse-friendly items will do you just fine, thank you very much.
This writer used to think it totally crazy for anyone to actually go out and spend a tenner on water in a can. What the actual feck, I thought, sure water is one of the only things left on this earth that's free (this was obviously before those pesky water charges came in.) Now, Vichy Thermal Spa Water (€10.99) is one of my beauty regime staples. Most recently I love it after coming out of a hot shower and into an over-heated room. It is also so good the morning after one too many cocktails...

Some things are not worth scrimping on, especially if you have skin issues like acne or dryness. The majority of toners, for example, are full of alcohol that dries out skin, which, it turns out, is not good news for oily skinned people as it eventually makes problems much worse by forcing skin to over-compensate for the dryness. Toners with minimal alcohol content tend to be that bit more expensive, but it's worth shelling out in the long run.
So, do you think beauty items priced €50 or more are rip-offs? Do you own products that cost a bomb but are absolutely the best for your skin? Have you gone expensive and never gone back, or vice versa?
