Umberto Giannini Frizzi: 3 Day Frizz Free Hair Extreme Taming Spray with Weather Proof Formula
I have read the Frizz Forecast and I hate to tell you that it's not good. It's not good at all.
High humidity, constant showers and a "moist", clammy atmos are all contributing to horrific hair conditions. There are more heads of frizz walking the streets than there were Leaving Certers with hangovers on Thursday morning.
And I'm at the end of my tether. So I've been trying out TONS of frizz fighters and one of the best yet is from the Umberto Giannini Frizzi Range.
There's lots of products in the range - serums, sprays, shampoos, conditioners, deep conditioners. And if you suffer from frizz you'll be wanting to buy them all.
I brought Extreme Taming Spray (€7.99) away with me last weekend, excited by the promise that the spray would "resist frizz come rain, humidity or shine". The most thrilling promise was the weather proof one of course, I've had more blow dries ruined the very second I've stepped out of the hairdressers, by the sopping wet air.
However, horror unfolded before me. I had brought no other styling products with me on the weekend away. None. I had only an untried and untested spray between me and the making or breaking of an big night out.

The spray didn't work. It was terrible. My hair was so frizzy and dreadful when I dried it (with the crappy hotel hairdryer, I didn't bring my own, another terrible mistake.) I had to face the dinner in the posh restaurant with my hair tied up and bits of frizz randomly escaping - I could have cried.
I wanted to throw the Frizzi spray into the bin, I hated it.
But after my bitterness had subsided a few days later I thought I'd give the spray another go. After all I didn't prep my hair with serum before spraying (because I didn't have any) and my hair needs serum. It needs serum like the desert needs the rain.
Lo and behold with the addition of serum this spray is fantastic. Lots of explanation on the box tell us that heat activated de-frizzing polymers super resistant to moisture hold style for up to 3 days. The spray is activated by the heat of a hairdryer or straightener and you can keep adding spray if any bits threaten to frizz - once you blast it with heat. Heat is key. The spray goes sticky if you don't heat it to boiling kettle levels.
You need to run serum through your hair before spraying on the Frizzi and then you need to BLAST your hair with heat otherwise it will be sticky.
If you do this you should be fine. The spray actually works, it's really good and I THANK THE UNIVERSE for bestowing this gift upon me.
Anyone else using this? How do you find it?
