The things you should always have in your handbag
There are two types of women in this world. Those that have neat and organized handbags and those that could survive living out of their handbag for at least a week!
But what essentials are important to have in your handbag?
If you are stripping it down, here's what should you always keep in your handbag.
Hand Sanitiser
Hand sanitizer is a must-have for all bags. Gym bags, work bags, and especially handbags. Your hands touch more than you realize, and things harbour germs. Anything from public transport seats to trolley handles or even your own car keys can carry bacteria so having a small hand sanitizer bottle will remind you to use it and also keep your hands free from a lot of bacteria. It should never be used as an alternative to washing your hands but when needs must, it's perfect!
A snack and water
How many times have you stayed somewhere longer than expected only to end up absolutely starving and weak? Have a small snack or two in your handbag when you are going anywhere to keep that hanger under control! And always have water with you because hydration!

Mints
You just never know when you might have some garlic with lunch or who you might bump into so mints are always essential.
Sanitary towel or tampon
You just never know when Aunt Flo may call for a visit so it helps to be on the safe side.
Plasters
New shoes? Paper cut? You never know when you might need a plaster so it’s always a good idea to carry one or two with you, especially if you have children too.

Pain Relief
Period pain or even a headache can come on quickly and be debilitating for some. Carry some pain relief with you just in case of an emergency.
Spare Contact Lenses
If, like me, you depend on contact lenses to see 3ft away from you, always have a spare set with you. There is nothing worse than being out and about and a contact tearing or falling out and having to squint the whole way home!
A hair tie
Hair ties are something I either have 100 of or absolutely none. I like to carry one or two with me because you just never know when you might need one.
