The denial of the 'work'. We have eyes people! We can see you!

The facts scream the truth. One day they looked slightly lined and hollow of cheek - perhaps even a little haggard and drawn. The next day they have the plump faces of teenagers and the pout of a... trout.

Female celebs claim they have to stay ultra skinny for their jobs.. So this means that they have very little fat to keep their faces plump and thus seem to age more quickly.

So they get a little work done. So what? It's blindingly obvious to all and sundry and it's nothing less than we expect. I mean actresses and pop stars spend a bleedin fortune on their appearance anyway and make their money from the way they look, so why should it be such a shock and surprise for us to learn the truth? The truth that we can clearly see anyway. Kylie recently grudgingly admitted to getting 'work' done - after denying it for ages. And Madonna denied too but has had so much work done she looks younger than she did ten years ago.  I know that they don't want to shatter the mystique that they are effortlessly young and beautiful - but come on.  It's hardly effortless if you have to work out like a maniac every single day. But that's a virtue apparently

Watching Emmerdale the other night I was struck by ultra thin Chastity's newly plump features. So swollen were her lips and so immobile her forehead that she could barely speak. Or maybe this was a lucky escape - at least this way she couldn't show what she really thought of the jiggy storyline between her and Paddy.

So why do you think this is the last taboo? And why continue to deny the blinding obvious?
