Stila Natural Eye Shadow Palette + Brighten & Correct Concealer for AW11
ATTN Stila fans! Not only has the brand just recently launched back in Ireland with a tight little edit at Boots in Liffey Valley* but there'll be more products in-coming on a seasonal basis too.
Like this pair, above, which'll arrive in September.
The Natural Eye Shadow Palette, €32, looks a little like the Stila response to Urban Decay's Naked. Containing ten neutral shadows that can be worn wet or dry, you'll also get an eight-page look book with how-to tips and tricks and an exclusive shade of Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Damsel as well (it's a matte chocolate brown). Shades are:

- Bare – matte ivory
- Sandstone – matte light coco
- Kitten – shimmery pink champagne
- Champagne – shimmery pale gold
- Bliss – matte beige pink
- Gilded Gold – golden brown with shimmer
- Sunset – shimmery canyon pink
- Luster – dark aubergine with gold shimmer
- Night Sky – blue with shimmer
- Ebony – black
So what's that other yokey beside it? It's Brighten and Correct Concealer, €23, a triple-duty concealer in five shades, which says it'll illuminate, brighten and correct under eye circles. Buildable, it's got light-diffusing pigments, a unique mineral complex and something fancy called Haloxyl to deliver lightweight coverage. You get a satin, luminous finish that cools as it dries, reducing puffiness, minimising the appearance of dark circles over time. MY. JAY. SIS. Someone tell George Hook - now this is the stuff of science fiction.
