Rimmel Scandaleyes Lycra Flex Review, with Before and After Pics
We’ve been chatting about the horrible mascaras in our life and there are lots of them out there. So it does my heart good to spread word of one that’s really rather nice indeed.
Rimmel’s new Scandaleyes Lycra Flex launches at the end of the month and refreshingly, these days, makes only two claims: volume, without brittleness. (Maybe they learned something from the Lash Accelerator launch?)
Some people don’t mind a bit of crunchiness because for ages now it’s been the trade-off for those big, fat, volumised lashes that scream POW!
Me, though, I hate it – give me soft, give me fluttery, give me nothing at all over that stiff and bristly look. Clumps I can deal with - but now I’m that little bit older, it’s really not a good look. So I’d rather not.
And with Rimmel’s newbie, I won’t have to.

You might want to be sitting down before you read this next sentence. I’m serious now.
This mascara does exactly what it says on the tin.
Volumised lashes that feel soft and comfortable, not crunchy and brittle.
The brush grabs every one of my lashes and combs ‘em through evenly, so there’s no clumps. It looks good after one coat, but is just as soft after three.
Lads, this one’s a keeper. It lands on May 20th and it’s €8.95. Will you be checking it out?
