Review: Want brighter skin? Kiehl's will sort you out
Kiehl's is offering a solution to clarity-loss with a brand new brightening formula. We’ve got the lowdown on why you need this product in your life
Following the harsh cold of winter and constant exposure to pollution, our skin tends to become quite dull and in need of a small pick me up, so there’s no better time to get stuck into the skincare professional's latest offering.
The new Clearly Corrective Brightening and Soothing Treatment Water gently, and I mean gently, brightens the skin with fresh ingredients like Activated C, Licorice Root and White Birch. As someone with sensitive skin, my primary concern was irritation after the first use, but I needn’t have worried. There was no sting or tickly feeling on application, and as I applied the water treatment my skin instantly felt hydrated and renewed.

Applying the water treatment is easy and takes about two minutes. Lightly shake the bottle before use and then squeeze some product onto a cotton pad and begin to pat it on your skin, but don’t rub as you’re merely cleansing again. As it’s quite a light treatment, there’s no reason why it can’t be used once to twice daily. Personally, though, I would think it’s best to use in the morning post cleanse – the clean feel heading out in the morning is sure to wake you up. I’ve been using it once daily and there has been such a difference in my skin’s clarity and luminosity since, it’s almost unbelievable.
Priced at €42, I really believe it’s good value! Even though I've been using it every day, the bottle somehow never seems to dwindle. So, with that and the fact that I truly believe it works, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick it up in store.
The Clearly Corrective Treatment Water is available in-store at Kiehl's Wicklow Street, Dundrum Town Centre and Arnott’s Department Store in Dublin or Debenhams Patrick Street, Cork.
