If makeup artistry just isn't your strong point, we have tips on the easiest way to apply eyeshadow

Some people are naturally drawn to doing their makeup. They love the process of creating a work of art on their face. They love choosing colours to bring out their eye colour and creating contours and highlight that JLo would be jealous of. Then there are some of us who don't love that process. Do you struggle with application and blending techniques? Or maybe you just don't have the time to spend half an hour buffing your eyeshadow to perfection? Check out these brilliant little tools to give you fairly good smokey eyes with very little effort. This has to be the easiest way to apply eyeshadow.

The idea behind these three products is that they are pretty much fool-proof, so you don't need to worry too much about your application technique. The only other tool you need is a blending brush (we suggest MAC #217).

  • Kiss Luxury Eye Crayon €7.95 (see their Facebook page for stockists).

This one has a doe foot applicator but you apply it the same way. Just scribble it on close to the lash line and buff the product out.

Again, this one from the L.O.V Cosmetics Spring/Summer Collection is like a lipgloss applicator rather than a pencil.

How To?

  • Scribble the product on your eyelid close to your eyelashes and up onto the lid
  • Spread the pencil around your eyelids with the brush. Use circular motions and go back and forth through the crease to buff the edges a little bit. You can bring it along the bottom lashes too and buff with the tip of your brush.

Hey, presto! You can have smokey eyes or just a wash of colour with just one product.

Do you think you could master this one-step eye makeup look?
