Pee-You: A Wee Treat for Feet - Easy & Surprise!
Via Gizmodo comes news of a Japanese beauty product, Foot Pee! Pack. We're big fans of batty Asian beauty buys and while this one seems to have fallen victim to the dreaded Engrish, maybe it was intentional after all: Foot Pee! Pack promises to give you delightfully soft trotters thanks to ... wee.
You put liquid-filled baggies on your feet and they deliver smooth soles in a jiffy, but before you turn your nose up entirely, it seems that the active ingredient here is actually urea, and not pee. Yep, urea is a component of urine, but it's not actually a case of beauty manufacturers relieving themselves into your products. God no. I mean, that'd take ages.

What happens is that urea - which is a known skin-softener - is synthesised in huge quantities and used in all sorts of stuff, especially body moisturisers. So instead of taking a 12 hour flight to the land of the rising sun to take your chances with Foot Pee!, you might want to check out foot remedies like Flexitol or Eucerin's Dry Skin Intensive Foot Cream with 10% Urea, instead.
Just to be on the safe side, like.
