Our Pick of Summer Trousers Under €50
I live in trousers and whether it's jeans or a tapered style, I just love them. For some reason, I am partial to a pair over a skirt. It's like my natural style habitat. And when you find a fit that you love, then you simply adopt them as your style staple.
A black pair is always a good addition to your wardrobe for versatility, but for summer time you can go all out with colour and print. So I've been doing a bit of research to find my top five styles under €50.
Jeans are great and everything, and the denim trend has taken off more so than every other trend this season. But they don't necessarily suit every occasion.
For work try a light print, like a grey pin stripe with a dark shade (like my favourite, navy) to wear to the office on a warm day. Printed styles are the best for poolside style on your summer hols, but work well at home with a leather jacket and sandals.
If you fancy a new season silhouette, the palazzo trouser, or a wider leg can be really flattering once you keep the top half of you nice and fitted. One key thing to bear in mind are cuts; we've wide, tapered (wider around the hip and narrow towards the ankle), straight and skinny for 2015.

Shoes can make a huge difference to the style; wide legs can work with a platform shoe for some extra height and pointed or round toe shoes with a narrow heel are a good complement to a narrower fit along the legs. You want to elongate!
The trouser suit option is certainly present on the red carpet too, and is a very trendy alternative to the traditional gown.
This week we spotted the incredible Jane Fonda looking chic in a white trouser suit at Cannes. Oh how we love riviera style! The black version is probably the most popular on the red carpet, and my favourite is Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael is who has the most amazing innate style. She always looks great, but I particularly love this pared back styling.
So trousers are in! But have you a pair that wins the style battle from this season or those past? Tell us your pants stories!
