One Easy Peasy Way to Lessen the Look of Forehead Wrinkles
For as long as I can remember, my biggest skincare concerns have always revolved around the oiliness of my skin and the size of my pores. I was completely obsessed by blackheads (on myself and other people) in my teens, trying to make my own blackhead remover strips from Sellotape. And no, they didn't work.
Funny that.
In my early twenties, blackhead blitzing was still very much on the agenda but was accompanied by a determined search for a practically bomb-proof foundation that could last the day without slipping off my oily skin. Lately, however, I've had to add the beginning of what can really only be described as horizontal forehead furrows so deep you could sow spuds in them to my list of woes. If you're similarly afflicted and need a quick fix before you start to tweak your skincare regime, try switching your foundation. Regardless of how well I prep with exfoliator and Polyfilla, my Estée Lauder Double Wear Light is inclined to settle into these not-so-fine lines for a cup of tea and a flick through the papers. The likes of Diorskin Nude and MAC's Studio Fix Fluid, however, are far more polite altogether and simply wouldn't dream of lingering in such an unseemly fashion.

While using a lighter, less super-matt, less oil-proof foundation makes for lunchtime touch-ups and annoyance at make-up transfer, those small inconveniences pale into insignificance beside the fact that it knocks years off me.
The Botox can wait another wee while, so...
