New from SoSu - Eight Hues Join The Crew
My primary school uniform was brown. Brown socks, brown pinafore, brown cardi, brown tie. Luckily, we didn't have a brown shirt; no, it was cream. So essentially we were Oreo children.
It put me off the colour for a long, long time. I had the added hatred because of the uniform but for years brown was utterly unfashionable and no one in their right mind would wear anything that murky.
But - we've moved on. Instead of associating the colour with toilet matter (sorry, but that's what we all thought), we think of nice things, like chocolate. Which is why I lurve the new SoSu nail polish shade, aptly named Chocaholic.
We've been talking a lot about greige this aw '15 but this is my new favourite autumnal shade.
Chocaholic is one of eight new shades to join the SoSu family, especially for autumn. There it is now, along with Bare My Soul and Serial Shopper.

So it's not the brownist brown in the world - there's definitely a purplish tinge - but it's different from your maroons and other autumnal colours, although fine, I'll admit it, there is an element of greige about it. Dark greige, but still.
The eight new shades (complete with new brush for, I must say, very easy application) joined the line at the end of August. They're all available for a cheap 'n' cheerful €7.99 at Penneys and selected pharmacies nationwide .
