The most simple MUA tricks to cheat fuller looking lips
Makeup artist tricks are often held in the greatest of confidence. But we're here to share some favourites for creating fuller looking lips (no needles required!).
Makeup artist tricks and secrets of the beauty trade are something we love to talk about at Beaut HQ. After all, three of the members of our team are working makeup artists. We each have experience in different fields from bridal to TV, runway to photo shoots. But when it all boils down, our main focus is always on enhancing someone's features - whether that's by creating longer, fuller lashes, sculpting cheekbones or perfecting skin.
Today though, it's all about how to cheat fuller looking lips (without going anywhere near a needle). There are different ways to achieve a plumper pout from the very simple techniques to more technical ones. Here are two ways to enhance your lips (using products you'll probably already have in your makeup bag).
Lip Contouring
This is a favourite trick of many Instagram makeup artists. The tools required to create the effect are minimal - just a couple of lip pencils, a small brush and some concealer. It might take a little bit of time to perfect the look initially, you have the time but it can be a really effective way of cheating a fuller looking lip.

Lip Gloss
As makeup artist tricks go, this is as simple as they get. We love that makeup maestro Pat McGrath has put a clever spin on the technique though by creating depth with a lip liner first. High shine gloss added on top helps to catch the light, amplifying the look of lips while the softer edges give a full effect.
Have you tried either of these techniques yet?
