Magazine Awards 2012: brought to you by Beaut.ie and British Beauty Blogger

Next week we’re launching something really exciting: The Magazine Awards brought to you by Beaut.ie and BritishBeautyBlogger.

It was a real “let’s put on the show right here in the barn” moment when we decided to do this - magazines give bloggers awards - so why don't WE vote for the mags we love too we thought.  With instant agreement on Twitter (where else!),  BBB and ourselves hurried out to the barn and began to get things ready.

Between us, Beaut.ie and BBB have over half a million visitors a month: we think you're the ones who will tell us who's great, (and who’s just coasting along on their reputation) and who have earned the right to be named the Best Womens Magazines in 2012.

So, how will it work? We'll have categories for Best Weekly, Best Monthly, Best For Fashion, Best for Beauty, Best for Features and Best Irish Magazine. Then, we'll put up the polls and all you have to do is click and vote. This collaboration will bring together readers from Ireland and the UK with a common passion for beauty in a way that has never been done before. This is an absolute first and we're proud to be working together to get a true view of what beauty consumers really think.

You can vote as many times as you want and polling will last for two weeks (a break from dancing will then ensue as we count the votes and write up the results).

Of course there will be no judges and no input from the industry: the only voices we need to hear are yours.

People this is going to be HUGE!  We can't wait!

We're still setting up the check tablecloths and putting straw on the floor down in the barn, so there's time to give us input in the comments as to who you'd like to see in the polls  and inform the whole process.  What do you reckon!
