We are loving Cheryl's new understated makeup look

Cheryl Tweedy has come back on the scene with a bang in the last few months and we are loving her look. She's showing the world how to look beautiful with a really understated makeup look.

She can be cute girl next door with almost no makeup or she can be vampy Cheryl with red lips but she always looks natural. We think she's an icon for showing women how to use makeup to enhance what you've already got. Of course, there's a time and a place for full on makeup. However, makeup is intended to enhance your natural features and not to mask them.

Even for this strong makeup look, her makeup isn't actually very heavy. She has gone for a red lipstick look with her smokey eye. The red lip really suits her skin tone.
This is another strong look for Cheryl with a minimal makeup look. We love how her makeup never takes over her appearance. She uses makeup to enhance her features rather than mask them. The undone eyebrows keep this look from becoming too much makeup. Her foundation isn't too heavy and the nude lip keeps it understated. Her eye makeup is the feature so the rest of the makeup is kept minimal.
