Life in Colour: Maybelline at NYFW

Our heads are so filled with beautiful fashion and makeup at the moment that we have been dreaming in colour. From pops of strong pastels on the lips to bold, statement eyes, Maybelline have been brightening up our world right up with their behind-the-scenes reports from NYFW.

And today we are getting insider tips and tricks from the latest and hottest show, Brock. If you are fan of elegant beauty, then read on because we'll be showing you exactly how to get this look.

• Brock

Brock is the luxury womenswear label from designers Laura Vassar and Kristopher Brock. This brand started in 2013 after the duo met and began to collaborate while attending Parsons The New School of Desgin.

Before launching the line, Brock had made a name for himself as one of New York's most in-demand tailors and pattern makers. Meanwhile, Vassar was working under Olivier Theyskens at Theory doing editorial and celebrity styling.

And it was from these backgrounds that the Brock label was born. The idea behind the brand is to create luxury pieces that one can live in through reinterpreting wearable clothing.

And this will be the first season that Maybelline New York sponsors Brock.

We loved the neutrals, metallics and sophisticated looks from the Brock show. And this was reflected in the makeup - glossy lips, groomed nails and the lightest touches of concealer.
