Lancome Teint Visionnaire Foundation and Concealer Duo: Review, Pictures!
When Lancome's super-serum Visionnaire launched back in 2011 it went down an absolute storm. Loads of you love it to bits for its clever use of skin-based science and more importantly for the results you've achieved with it. Well as of next month we'll be able to access this high tech formula in a foundation, as Lancome prepare to launch their most advanced makeup/skincare hybrid yet: Teint Visionnaire.
With the tagline "Beyond complexion, to skin perfection", Teint Visionnaire is a makeup duo featuring a fluid foundation plus a high-coverage concealer, in the lid. With Vitamin CG to brighten, the concealer can be applied to dark circles as well as blemishes and imperfections. My skin's not in good nick right now and I can attest that this offers really excellent coverage levels and does help to disguise both my under eye baggage and a few stubborn spots that won't feck off.
The foundation is also lovely. It feels nice and light on the skin but coverage is medium to high, while still looking fairly natural. The finish is neither matte nor dewy - satin probably describes it best - and wear-time is also good. I brought it on a weekend away with me recently and was really happy with it for both day and night time use. I've yet to wear it for a working day but expect it to perform similarly well.

But if Lancome are to be believed, then there's much more to this product than just a cosmetic perfecting effect. The foundation contains the same LR 2412 molecule from the original Visionnaire, to actually improve the condition of the skin over time. 4 weeks time, to be exact, after which we can expect a noticeable difference to skin quality, dark spots, imperfections and wrinkles. For more on the science behind these claims, check out our original post on Visionnaire where we quiz the scientists behind this beauty molecule - which is essentially jasmonic acid - about what exactly it does, and why.
Teint Visionnaire will be available in 18 shades from February 14th, priced at €45. (Bear in mind you do get two products for that price, with both cosmetic and skincare benefits.) Will you be checking it out? Do share your thoughts and opinions in the comments!
