Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector SPF 30
Undereye darkness is a real cause of irritation to some women. Dark circles are just genetic, unfortunately, but when we're tired or worn out, they become more obvious. We all know that 'Oh! You look tired' is just a euphemism for 'You look awful', and that covering the darkeness effectively makes you look immediately more awake.
Once you pass your mid-twenties, an eye cream can't hurt. The skin around the eyes is the most delicate on the face (along with lips), so keeping it moisturised and protected will minimise damage and keep the dark circles under control. After all, darkness under the surface of the skin in an area with such thin skin is always going to look more obvious if that skin is dry and dehydrated. It's also harder to apply concealer without it sitting, so it just makes sense to give eyes some love every day.
The new Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector SPF 30 from Kiehl's is pretty much a skincare/makeup hybrid, and I'm really impressed by it. It's fragrance free, rich in vitamin C (which helps with pigmentation issues), and contains SPF 30 for essential protection of that extra delicate eye area. It also contains caffeine which is great for increasing blood flow and tackling puffiness around the eyes.

Skin feels pleasingly moisturised after application and the pigment is surprisingly effective. If you're not a makeup person, applying just this under your eye area will brighten your whole face. If you are into makeup, apply this under foundation to force those dark circles into the background and create a lovely canvas for makeup.
The damage? €34, which is not at all cheap. This hits counters in April, and I particularly like it because it nourishes and protects skin while also acting as a concealer.
