Jessica Alba shows us how to wear AW florals in this week's round up of the best dressed
It's been a difficult week for fashion what with the VMAs searing the eyeballs out of our heads with a veritable lack of style. It was all about the trend which is great craic but it's no red carpet delight. If you're brave enough, you can catch up on those delights and disasters here.
We've been perusing the style galleries over the last week and here are some of our favourites.
Jessica Alba's dark floral gown on the red carpet of Mechanic Resurrection is a lesson on how to wear floral print in the darker months. The strapless Dolce & Gabbana gown is cinched at the waist and is boned for structure.

Kate Middleton's LK Bennett number (recycled, ie she wore it once before and people are losing their heads about such a thing) was one of the most talked about ensembles of the past week. Which just shows we're either obsessed with Kate or LK. Maybe both. Maybe Harry in a printed LK Bennett number would really be something to talk about.
My personal favourite is Lily James' custom made, Bardot neckline, black Burberry dress. The texture, the sleeves and the hemline and haute perfection. Which is why no one wore it to the VMAs.
