Is the man braid THE hair style for 2016?

Oh goody. It seems like the man braid is set to be the defining hairstyle trend for 2016.

There’s a whole host of lads on Instagram sharing images of their new dos, where they’re wearing the top parts of their hair in braids and keeping the back and sides shaved.

If you're not familiar with the trend, you might have seen it become popular amongst celebrities towards the tail end of last year with the likes of Harry Styles and Shia LaBouef sporting the trend.

While we're not sure about either of Styles or LaBouef's interpretation of the trend, there are some blokes on Instagram that are truly rocking it. Check it out.
