It's a funny thing but some beauty products have been around for what seems like millenia now.  They were pretty crap at the time (and lots of them are pretty crap now) but a snazzy repackage, a slight shakeup in the formula and lots of new variations added to the line means that they're still with us.

Go into any chemist and the shelves are groaning with the weight of products that should have shuffled off this mortal coil decades ago.

Or should they?

Products of Yore like Anne French cleansers.  Aapri facial scrubs.  Buff Puffs.  Original formulation Clearasil (so harsh it could be used as a nuclear weapon), Clinique Toner (ditto).  Max Factor Pan Stick (go on I know loads of you use it).  Cold cream.  Anything by Yardley.  Tweed by Lentheric.  Body Shop perfume oils

Lancome Tresor - yep a serious bang of granny off it - but I'll put my hands up and admit that its one of my favourite perfumes.
