How To: Get Posh's Look
We checked out Mrs Beckham's new 'do yesterday, and the majority of you thought it was definitely a turn up for the books. "I LOVE that style and it really suits her", commenter Sarah said, and Red concurred: "she looks amazing", adding, "must fight urge to cut off all my own hair now".
How do you go about getting your gruaig to look like Posh's? It's actually a super-simple style to have, because maintenance is a cinch. But here's a warning: this look does not suit everyone. In fact, it only suits a minority of people, and if you've a round face, you're immediately out of the game. Those with big eyes and gamine or elfin features can carry this look well, and sad to say, it also won't work on anyone with a big neck, square jawline or more than one chin.

So, if you're a tall slim gal or a petite lass, you could give this a go. Ask your hairdresser first though - no decent stylist will give you a cut they really don't think will suit you. Once it's shorn, you'll find that washing, drying and styling are incredibly quick. You'll probably be able to finger dry it and in fact, about all you'll need to do styling-wise is whack a bit of product through - Shu Umeura's new Shape Paste or Redken's Electric Wax would both be good choices.
Old-fashioned pomades like Dax or Brylcream can also bring something to the table here - this cut would look equally good slicked down in a side-parted Ute Lemper-esque masculine style for night - just add smokey eyes and a lot of attitude. And if brown is just a bit too practical-Mammy for you, go peroxide blonde or vibrant red. Lastly, to keep the shape looking good, you'll have to be religious about your hair appointments, and depending on how quickly your hair grows, look at going back for a trim after about 4 weeks.
