The easy way to add Christmas glam to any makeup look

Keeping up your makeup game over the many social occasions at this time of year is a challenge. You can add some Christmas glam to any look with this makeup trick.

Seriously, how are we supposed to have enough outfits and makeup looks to get us through all these social occasions? Between work Christmas parties, our annual girls' Christmas night out, family gatherings and all the 'sure it's Christmas' drinks occasions, it's tough keeping up in the style stakes. This little trick only requires one or maybe two makeup products on top of your usuals to add some Christmas glam.

The theory with this little technique is that you can just keep doing your usual ten-minute makeup look. However, then you add your Christmas glam in seconds at the very end. It comes in the form of glorious glitter. And you just need to add a little dab of it to the very centre of your eyelid.

What's not to love about glitter? It adds a cheeky glint in your eye, it catches the light and it's generally very flattering. We're not talking glitter overload, this is a subtle touch of Christmas glam. We promise you'll think it's cute, not tacky.

You can either use a glitter eyeshadow or for a more dramatic effect use full-on glitter. An eyeshadow will adhere itself but if you're using glitter you will need glue to stick it on.
