Guerlain Terra Inca for Summer 2011 Pictures + Swatches
So we checked out Guerlain's Terracotta collection last week but that's not the end of the posh goodies from one of my favourite-looking brands. I also got to snaffle some goodies from Terra Inca. This is the summer collection, launching on June 5th, and there are a lot of really really oh I want, need and must have (and must save up for, natch) products in the collection.
Like that amazing-looking yoke above. What is it, then? It's the Terre Indigo 4-shade eyeshadow, €51, that's what.
Here's a closeup so you can appreciate the gorgeous further. Loathe as I was to disturb the pretty too much, I think the gold is an overspray but the other shades go the whole way through. I also couldn't bear to swatch this - sorry!
Like the Terracotta launch, there's a very pretty powder in this collection too. Sublime Radiant powder, €60, comes in a magnetised wooden case with an embossed, shimmering powder duo inside. Where the regular terracotta bronzers are matte, this is pitched as a luminizer, so it's subtly pearlised. I don't have a sample of this so I can't give you swatches but rest assured I had a go of it and it is beee-you-riful. Plus, the bathroom real estate factor is high with this product.

These are Cream Eyeshadows and they'll be €29 each. Gorgeous presentation, eh? These come in Bahia, the pink, Havana, the bronzey greeny shade and Maya, the copper. Shimmering and lightly metallic, these can be sheered out or worn as liner and are heat and water-resistant. I think they'll make a good bridal pick, eh?
And here are the swatches. Lots of colour and shine with these.
The last bits from Terra Inca I have are three glosses. Moisturising Gloss comes in three shades, Salsa, a luminous fuchsia, Mambo, an intense coral and Tango, a vibrant red. €26.50 each is the damage on each and at the launch of the products it was these that immediately caught my eye because oh boy, they're practically neon. In fact, on the lips the colour payoff is quite sheer and there are no sparkles or glitter - these are proper jelly glosses that look gorgeous on bare lips.
Here are the swatches on my hand, and they're quite thickly applied. Do note these will look different on the lips which are much more pigmented than my milky-white lamh.
What do you think - anything catch your fancy?
