Grazia: delusions of grandeur?
There's a lot to be said for the weekly mag Grazia - but there's a lot about it that I'm a little bit meh about too. It sells itself the way all the weekly magazines do (i.e headlines trumpeting - Is Posh dangerously thin? Are Brangalina splitting up? Has Jen had a boob job? etc). Then it switches focus with its serious fashion and beauty coverage. Finally leaving nothing to chance, it then wades in with the oddly out of place investigative journalism piece. It maybe ... definitely ... takes itself too seriously.
A Heat magazine by any other name is still... Heat magazine. Grazia is sitting on the fence and I'd love to see it go down the route of style guide and leave the celeb stuff to the celeb mags.
But what do you think? Have your say here - but before you do please listen to what Adam and Joe think about this important matter. If you don't wet yourself laughing at this I'll be damned.
