Get the Look: Cara Delevingne's Stained Berry Lip

When Cara Delevingne arrived on the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards back in September, her sartorial domination had us scrambling for our metallic shadows, Golden Horde-inspired jackets and labret piercings.

So when I saw her sashaying up the red carpet Paper Towns photo call in Berlin earlier this week, I thought twice about fresh, summer make up and pulled back out my berry, darker lip shades. Paired with mussy, beach hair, it seems like the perfect look for this inbetweeny season that we loosely refer to as summer.

And the clashing print detail of her outfit keeps this on the right side of grungy.

Cara's lip look isn't a perfectly groomed pout, it's more a 'I just got home from last night about an hour ago' stain. The trick here is not to apply with a brush or even straight from the bullet - press your ring finger against the bullet and pat on to the lip. No need for liner, just a slick of a lip primer to keep the shade in place.
