Customers from hell: sales assistants don't have it easy sometimes
We spend a lot of time from a consumer point of view discussing the service we receive from makeup counter staff, sales assistants in shops and hairdressers.
But do we ever honestly stop to think about things from their point of view? When you think about the amount of flippin freaks out there is it any wonder that customer service staff run across some downright lunatics from time to time?
Or a lot of the time.
I've heard a lot of stories over the years from people working in shops and salons - and some of the things they'd tell you would absolutely make you wonder how they are polite and nice to anyone, ever.
Shop assistants regularly tell tales of customers who use the changing rooms as toilets and how they are constantly cleaning up puke and pee from the floors. One girl told me a customer was annoyed because she wanted to take five things into the changing room when she could only take three.
So she took a dump on the floor of the changing room and dropped the clothes in it.

A hairdresser told me about the customer whose hair was crawling with headlice and when they quietly and discreetly explained that they couldn't cut her hair for hygiene reasons she went absolutely insane and screamed the place down.
They got a solicitors letter from her the next day.
And waxing staff will often recount stories of customers who haven't showered for what smells like days when they come in to get Brazillians. They'll make jokes about it and everything as they whip off their crusty knickers. This one is really unpleasant and downright rude - and also HOW could you not be completely morto at being that filthy?
From customers that try to return 90% used bottles of foundation to clothes presented for exchange with stains and sweatpatches, sales staff don't have it easy sometimes.
I'm sure lots of you have stories like this - tell us some!
