Bourjois Blush Exclusif: Give It A Few Seconds To Bespokify On Skin And You're Away
As Coke’s recent marketing triumph proves, we’re all suckers for a bit of personalisation. Being no exception I was mad to try Bourjois Blush Exclusive Smart Blush.
It’s a crème blusher that adjusts itself to a customised pink when applied by reacting to the PH of your skin. This new blush is based on the same idea as Smashbox O Glow and Bourjois have also used this technology in their Rose Exclusive Lip Gloss
It’s a very pale pink in the pot and the tint changes on contact with the skin, creating a personalised effect. In terms of packaging the case is quite similar to the Crème Blush, it’s silver, but roughly the same portable size with a handy mirror in the lid.

Texture-wise it’s really similar to Bourjois Crème Blush; it goes on as a crème and gives a nice semi-powdery finish. It’s easy peasy to apply and walks the line between powder finish and lovely dewiness. Although the product is really blendable and buildable it does take a few seconds to er.. bespokify on the skin. So if you tend to be heavy handed like me, give it a second to develop before building the colour.
Tone-wise it came out MUCH cooler than I would usually go for in a blusher, so it was a bit of a shocker when I first applied it. But it seemed to tone down throughout the day. All in all I really like this blusher, if you hemm and haw over blusher shades then this might be a way to go. And at €9.99 It won’t break the bank.
