Benefit event totally rocked: Cha Cha Tint, Scene Queen and Sunday Funday
It was a busy buzzy Saturday in Dublin. Pride was on and the streets were thronged with people - and the weather was good. Amazing! And even better was the event taking place in BT Grafton Street. For Maggie and Annie, the daughters/nieces of Jean and Jane Ford, the Benefit founders, were in town to launch the latest must have piece of makeup bag kit - the long awaited Cha Cha Tint. Benefit had to take on extra staff for the day, such was the demand for makeovers and the place was packed with ladies being made even more beautiful.
Maggie and Annie worked the crowd - makeovers, discussion, lots of chat and photo taking. We had to christen one of the steps to the stage "The Irish step" after it became clear that the Benefit ladies were going to tower over the much more petite Irish girls in pictures. Having the Irish girls stand on the step made everyone roughly the same height and gave us all a good laugh.
And something awemazing was revealed on the day. Two of them actually. Kirstie and I were having a little chat with Maggie and Annie before the whole thing started, when our eyes alighted upon something fabulous casually lying on the table. "What are... THESE? Are they new kits? Oooh!"
And indeed they were. Sunday Funday and Scene Queen (€39.50) are two brand spanking new kits full of eyeshadows, tints, highlighter and brushes in totally groovy packaging. Exclusive to BT in Ireland at the moment, they were a sell out in the UK when they were launched there and judging by the reactions on Saturday it might go the same way here very soon

Sunday Funday: subtler colours and a more relaxed vibe. The lipgloss shades are exclusive to the kits
Look at the reaction when they see the kits!
Happy sigh. A brilliant day and so great to see so many familiar faces there and to meet new people. All united by the love of makeup!
