Beauty BLEUGH! Have You Seen What This Vlogger Found in Sponge?
If there's one thing you don't want to say as you inspect the sponge with which you apply your foundation, it's 'there's another thing, with LEGS'.
But that's exactly what poor old Stevie Miller, a beauty vlogger from the UK, found herself saying when she noticed a small hole in her make up sponge and decided to investigate further.
In a You Tube vid that will give every beauty lover the heebie jeebies, she cut open the sponge to find a few little intruders inside. Some had wings, some had legs but all were residing somewhere where they weren't listed on the tenancy agreement.

In the words of Stevie, 'I need a shower. I need bleach. I need Jesus'.
I don't use a sponge, I stick to brushes and fingers. I found that no matter how well I washed my sponges, there was still a gunky residue that made me feel like I was rubbing a delightful mix of grime and product onto my face. But a bit of baby shampoo, some luke warm water (and making sure to hold the brush so that none of the water goes into head of the the brush itself) gives me soft, clean brushes that I know aren't hiding non-rent paying, winged spongers (see what I did there?).
So tell us, does this video make you want to run home and clean your whole make up kit? And if you've ever found something living in your kit, you have to tell us - it's your civic cosmetic duty.
