Beaut.ienomics: 2True at Superdrug
I got an excited email from reader Triona yesterday, who's just discovered a new cheapy beauty brand at the Tallaght branch of Superdrug, called 2True. "I've no idea where it comes from," she says, "but they had lots of things from fake lashes to lipgloss." So she decided to lay down a very recession-friendly amount of €7.50 for three products.
"On first inspection the eye shadows had good pigmentation," Triona reports, adding, "I took this as a sign the stuff was probably reasonable quality, so I bought a 2True Cheek and Lip Tinted Stain, a Sparkling Dust eyeshadow and a lipgloss." So, how do they rate?
The eyeshadow is comparable to Barry M, she reckons: "it does the job just perfect, but there's not a great range of colours." Lipgloss is similarly OK, but it's the Lip and Cheek Stain she singles out: "it's amazing. It's shocking pink in the bottle but used correctly looks amazing on! I was so impressed."

Last words? "If you bought the stain by itself it would be under €4. Compared to Benefit's Posietint which is near €30 if I remember right, and it's really good quality for the price - definitely Beaut.ienomics!"
Thanks Triona - I think this is one I might be sashaying off to Superdrug to check out. Anyone else given it a whirl?
