Ask & You Shall Receive: How To Find Discontinued Lipstick Shades?
Sushi wailed, "I used to buy ‘psychic love match’ lipstick by Benefit, and they’ve discontinued it". Don't you just HAAAATE it when that happens? She really wants to stick with the shade though, and asked, "I wonder how one finds similar shades of lipstick to known ones without trying hundreds in the shops?"
Well, I have a few answers for her. Number one answer is to try eBay, or Beauty Swap Siopa or MakeupAlley for the exact product. You never know - you might get lucky.

Number two answer is to look for something that's the same shade but made by a different company. 3 Custom Colour are experts at this. You can enter the brand and shade name, and the website will indicate if they can receate it for you. And while they can whip you up a whopping 32 discontinued Benefit lipstick shades, they don't have Psychic Love Match listed. Gaaah! It could be worth emailing them though, to ask if they might add it in the future.
Lastly, what about our good friends at Prescriptives? Offering Custom Blend services on concealer, foundation, tinted moisturiser and lip products, they're a brillo bet for recreating hard to match shades. Head into House of Fraser Dundrum or Brown Thomas Dublin, bringing along a sample of Psychic Love Match if at all possible so that the colour can be accurately matched. While I'm not 100% sure if Custom Blend lipstick is available here, the gloss service is, and you can choose from a variety of shades and finishes, so you could get a full-coverage gloss in the correct shade - and that might just do the trick.
