Artdeco Glam Moon & Stars Collection
We already started the sparkle wagon on its journey to Christmas by reviewing Max Factor's Excess Shimmer Eyeshadows this week. There's no going back now.
And I popped over to Debenham's on Dublin's Henry Street last night to have a good nosey into ARTDECO's latest Christmas offering which has just hit counters; it's limited edition so if you want some of the products I'd head over there today!
The collection - Glam Moon and Stars - is the most gloriously unsubtle Christmas collection I've seen in a while. And that is the ultimate compliment. At Christmas, I don't want subtlety, I want SPARKLE! And this collection has, as my Granny used to say, tucks of it!
The whole collection is awash with sparkly goodness, but here are my favourite products -
- Moonlight Dust (€24.50)
This product can be used pretty much only twice a year - at Halloween costume parties, and at Christmas. Even so, I want it! The beautiful vintage pump bottle would look great on any night stand and it emits a little puff of the most fantastic glitter which adheres to whichever surface you spritz it on. For Christmas parties, this would look pretty in the hair of the daring!

- Glam Stars Liquid Liners (€14.75)
These appeal enormously to those of us in possession of an inner magpie. Available in three arresting and uber-sparkly shades, these fellows would look incredible as an eyeliner for a cat eye, or if you're a little nervous, applied in a line along the top of your normal black liner!
- Moonlight Eyeshadows (€8.70)
The eyeshadows, bottom centre, which fit magnetically into a pretty palette, are wonderfully sparkly and the shade range is really very pretty - swept across the lid these would make for a very festive eye makeup indeed!
The range of products in this collection is great - there's so much to choose from and it's well worth a look. I can see this one selling very quickly, though, so if you want to get your sparkle on with this collection, I'd head down to Debenham's to have a sniff and a swatch fairly lively!
What do you think? Does sparkle fill you with joy? Or does it fill you with grinchy grinchy dread? To the comments!
