The brilliant concealer that gives you wide awake eyes in 2 seconds flat

Dark circles are the bane of most of our lives. But while we might be feeling tired, we don't have to look it anymore. And it's all thanks to a brilliant new concealer we've discovered!

Under eye bags and dark circles are never going to be in vogue, but if they were, then I for one would be seriously on trend lately. Maybe it's the soggy rainy weather, maybe it's from working a little too hard. Maybe it's from general lack of sleep and trying to burn the candle at both ends. It's a rich tapestry.

Anyway, in a bid to look more human this week, I decided to give the new NOTE cosmetics Mineral Concealer (€14.95) a whirl. It had been sitting on my desk for a little while so it seemed rude not to at a least give it a go, especially after trying, and liking their gorgeous bronzer (you can read about that here). I had pretty high hopes, but as we know though, beauty brands don't always strike gold with every product in their collections. So, how did the Mineral Concealer fare?

 After trying it out for a few days, I can genuinely say, I've been blown away by how good this concealer is. And I don't mean "good for the price" or "good for a pharmacy brand" I mean good, as in, really good. From the incredibly hydrating and creamy texture to the smooth application, it feels more like a luxury skin care product than make-up. I should probably also mention that a little goes a long way too so you'll definitely get your money's worth out of it. But the best bit, has to be the brightening properties - this really does give you wide awake eyes in 2 seconds flat.
