This is to do away with the zig-zag motion of mascara application, which Estée Lauder and Lancôme have apparently decided is just too much like hard work. Er, right-o.
Details of the precise effect Lancôme's Ôscillation will bestow on lashes are sketchy, but the gel formula of the Turbo Lash All Effects Motion Mascara™ from EL promises to do it all: the claims are that it'll provide maximum volume, length separation, definition and curl.
