A mascara that vibrates might sound like something Ann Summers would dream up, but it looks like Estée Lauder and Lancome have beaten her to it. Both brands are launching "power mascaras" this autumn, in which the mascara wands will vibrate at the touch of a button. This is to do away with the zig-zag motion of mascara application, which Estée Lauder and Lancôme have apparently decided is just too much like hard work. Er, right-o.
Details of the precise effect Lancôme's Ôscillation will bestow on lashes are sketchy, but the gel formula of the Turbo Lash All Effects Motion Mascara™ from EL promises to do it all: the claims are that it'll provide maximum volume, length separation, definition and curl.
